Finding and merging duplicate leads
Find leads that share a phone number or an email, and merge them.
Managers and admins open Settings > Duplicate control and press Look for duplicates. The list shows the leads that share a phone number or an email address.
To merge, press Merge lead ... into lead .... The first lead is kept. The second one is removed, and its history, tasks, emails and chats move to the first. Tags and contacts are combined.
New leads can also be checked for duplicates when they arrive; the rules are on the same page.
